Do We Live in Fear?

Posted by eleanormiller91 on April 15, 2019 at 4:35 PM Comments comments (3)

Why do we live in so much fear?  You dont! So you believe. It seems that everything we do is done with a FEAR POINT!  WHAT IF, seems to be our Mantra.  Well..... we can still use the what if!  What if it goes right!

Why is it we follow the same patterns over and over, even when we know they are not what is right for us? Is that not the definition of INSANITY?  Doing the same thing over and over and hoping for different results?  Then we bitch about it as if we are NOT at fault in anyway!

Half of the times it just feels wrong or like something is missing and yet we do it to fit in.  We will eat a certain way, lest we be judged.  Like high tea, it is fine for some, but it is not for everyone! So why be the proverbial 'bull, in the china shop'?

Follow, follow, follow, that is what has gotten us into this mess anyway..... always following what we believe, or rather what we have been taught to be right for us!  Dont we realize that most of us feel the same way about being a hamster on a wheel? Keeping our labels and outdated beliefs going so strong!  So why is it we do not jump off am make a new way? Or to follow the way that we know to be right for us?

All disconnected and yet connected in our disconnectedness. What is it about this connection that causes us fear?  Is it the fear of being different?....But, is that not what makes us great?  How boring if we were all the same!

Let us respect the differences, EMBRACE the differences!

So many are just observers in the dance of life. They wish to dance like no one is watching but are afraid of being judged for having no rhythm. Of hearing someone mock them.

I say sing in front of a crowd and have fun! Go bowling and suck!  Cheer on those gutter balls! Just have fun in who you are!

It is the fear of JUDGEMENT that keeps us from enjoying life! But it is us who judge ourselves, before others even can! Realize that they are too, feeling the same way as you!

Step out of the comfort zone and blaze those perfectly imperfect trails!

What If....

We have a habit of making what if thoughts which can destroy our self esteem, distract us, just hold us prisoner to our own mind.

What if we change the way we question the what if's?

What if we could all stand together...

what if we could respect one another...

what if we could stand together...

what if we could see the pain in one another...

what if we could stand together...

what if there was no right or wrong...

what if you all think I am crazy, but are just willing to hear me out, even if it is just to be polite or because you are bored and stuck here...

what if we all stop trying to shove our views down people's throats as if it were the ONLY point of view...

what if we stopped the violence... the hate... the disrespect...

what if we truly stopped and listened to each other...

what if under all the shouting we actually hear the call for help...

what if we could stand together...

what if we are all correct in our views...

what if we live a life of happiness,,,

what if we stop putting our nose into other peoples business...

what if we stop the judgement,,,

what if we realize we are judging out of fear...

what if we realize there is more than one way...

what if we realize people are just scared...

what if we realize we are scared...

what if we realize that love and fear CANNOT coexist...

what if we stopped trying to be the loudest...the center...the victim...

what if we stopped talking just to be heard...

what if we just listened...

to ourselves...

to others...

what if we began:

sharing

caring

allowing

listening

hearing

LOVING

what if we all prayed differently but for the same outcome!

What If....

What if we are all correct in the sense that we all have a partial truth to life?

All religions, including the nature religions, as well as the people who do not believe in any so called religion, but believe in the evolution of the human race.

There are those who beliee that we should all be full of love, compassion and selflessness as well as those who believe that we should be more concerned with self.

What if there is truth to all but we have not put it all together?

Different cultures learn the way they understand best.  They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but clearly we do not describe the picture in the same way. For we are all focused on one aspect of the whole due to the state of mind we are in or because of the teachings we may have received. Are we all right? Wrong? Or... are we all carrying a partial truth, that maybe if we bridge all our thoughts and beliefs, we may truly see the whole picture.

Is there really a right or wrong? Good or Bad? Or are they just all experiences for us to learn from?
